Description
Red granite and river frontage
The banks value red granite over basalt, so it will do you no harm to have a look at this block. Approximately 245 acres have been sown to a phalaris, cocksfoot, clover mix ” with a terrific strike and large bulk of dry matter available. One boundary is the 3 km Murrumbidgee River frontage with some beautiful water holes and picnic spots. Scattered White Box timber over the property provides terrific stock shelter. The rainfall is approximately 32 inches (800 mm) and the vendor rates the carrying capacity at around 80 cows and calves (3 DSE/acre). A pump on the river fills a header tank above the new steel cattle yards. There has been roughly 2 km of granite road formed to a potential house site (with DA approval) on the river. The neighbours are as good as the country and the river.
